Design Recruiter at Modern Treasury
About the role
We’re looking for a Design Recruiter to help with talent at Modern Treasury. In this role, you’ll build deep relationships with candidates, help evaluate and make offers, assist in the onboarding of new members to the team, and ensure a great candidate and employee experience. As the first Design Recruiter you will report to the Head of Talent and partner with the design leadership team.
You will help craft role definitions, identify candidates that fit the profile, and manage the entire process from sourcing through interviews to the offer stage for these roles. We take building our team and culture seriously at Modern Treasury, and how you do your work will be critical to the company we end up building.
It’s important that we continually improve in our recruiting processes and evaluate how we can create better candidate experiences. We are looking for an individual with a winning mix of creative energy and attention to detail; experience driving results in recruiting; willingness to work hands on day-to-day; comfort managing multiple concurrent searches and projects; demonstrated ability to communicate technical products to candidates; ability to flourish in a fast-paced startup environment; and wholehearted empathy for our team and all prospective team members.

- Experience working on a small team in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment
- 2+ years of recruiting, 1+ years of design recruiting
- Dedication to infusing DE&I into all areas of the recruiting funnel

WEEK BY WEEK
During your first week you will:
- Onboard with our team
- Develop an understanding of our customers and our products
- Read our favorite industry primers
- Build an understanding of our brand positioning, design needs, and customer stories
During your first six weeks you will:
- Begin sourcing candidates and guiding candidates through the onsite process
- Develop a regular cadence of engaging with each hiring manager
- Identify new talent pipelines and improve processes as needed
During your first six months you will:
- Help drive the definition of upcoming open roles
- Optimize and scale our onboarding processes
- Keep learning! Brainstorm and bring to life new experiments, concepts, and ideas.
