Unlocking solar for rental properties
Moneytree is hiring a Front-End Engineer. You’ll be responsible for the ownership and development of UI design and engineering for our user-facing applications. The Front-End Engineer will work closely with the founding team to build and iterate on several different products, including tenant-facing applications for energy management and bill payment, tools for property managers and owners to manage and operate their cleantech hardware, and data reporting tools.
You will work with the rest of the tech team on product and UX design while owning UI design and front-end implementation across many of these applications. As a new company with minimal tech debt and big ambitions, there will be many opportunities to hone your existing skills as well as explore new areas of technical and non-technical growth (full stack and backend development, product and UX design, business operations, management, etc.).
Moneytree is a climate tech company with products that relate to solar, EV charging, batteries, virtual power plants and more. You do not need a prior background in any of these applications nor experience across all aspects of Moneytree’s tech stack - we’re happy to teach you what you don’t know. We’re looking for someone who can learn quickly and think critically about applying those lessons across many aspects of our business as well as help level up the rest of the team with your own unique skill-set and experiences. The ideal candidate is an empathetic, creative and tenacious problem solver with a desire to help fight climate change. As an early technical hire at our company, you’ll wear many hats, work on many projects and learn a lot!
