We create high-resolution, minimally invasive electrodes for sensing and stimulating neural activity within the brain with the goal of transforming the efficacy of deep brain stimulation (DBS), an FDA-approved therapy used to treat Parkinson’s, essential tremor and epilepsy. NDT's electrode leads are thinner than a human hair and unlike currently available DBS devices, our devices do not only stimulate, but also have many recordings sites, thereby enabling high-resolution, closed-loop recording and stimulation.
