Growth Associate

The Growth Associate is a key role because it is the main touchpoint between us and our users. Your main responsibilities are contractor sourcing, matching them with workers, and project follow-up. This includes:

• Direct outreach to contractors
• Explaining Nook and its value proposition to contractors and workers
• Negotiating with contractors and workers to meet each other's requirements
• Setting expectations, handling objections, establishing credibility with each user interaction
• Iterating on company processes and metrics based on user feedback
• Non-standard working hours (e.g. some hours during evenings and/or holidays)

You will also be working closely with the co-founders to continually identify actionable insights from user interactions.

Qualifications

An ideal candidate for the Growth Associate position hinges on two key qualities: excellent communication abilities and a passion for talking to people and helping solve their problems. The ability to understand a customer from their point of view and creatively problem-solve towards a solution is critical. It is equally important to be able to effectively communicate any potential customer issue to the rest of the Nook team. Finally, an ideal candidate is resourceful in using different tactics to achieve the goals of the team.

Other qualifications include:

• Fluency in English and Vietnamese (written and spoken)
• Familiarity with common productivity and collaboration software (Office, GSuite, Slack, Asana)
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative, responsible, and punctual
• Resourceful and scrappy problem solver
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit are a must
