The Role: As a Payment Platform Product Manager, you will build a strategy that connects the current state of the business to the company’s vision and execute the Payment product strategy. This will require internal collaboration, external collaboration, and cross-functional partnership with key stakeholders. This person will take ownership of their respective roadmap initiatives, deliver new product features that create value, and communicate the status and success of these accomplishments on a regular basis. A deep understanding of current customer trends, existing problems, and defining areas of opportunity are crucial to the success of this role. Data analysis and interpretation of metrics will be part of the regular cadence, and play an intricate role in defining the short and long-term roadmap. The purpose of this role is to bring world-class Payment expertise to the online businesses, drive an increase in profitability and reduce the consumer adoption curve.

What will you do : Define the product charter and requirements for OkPay core service (Risk Service etc) Lead the use-case wise adoption, and scale-up of online payments, in collaboration with respective PMs and Tech As Define the Rule Engine of all online payments (levers in the Rule Engine and their limits available to use-cases), be the one person responsible for managing the risk in the system Coordinate with all payment partners, lead the exploration of new payment capabilities, adoption of new technologies (PSP, Contactless payments) Aggregates and assess product feedback and feature requests to identify unmet product needs and opportunities Manage short-term focused market and customer research regarding product acceptance, usage and success and integrate results directly into the product planning activities .  Participates in prioritization of cross-stream initiatives and leads those within their own stream(s). Structures and leads strategic conversations/meetings with cross-functional stakeholders. Proactively shares information and actually solicits feedback

What you bring to the role: 4 + years building payments, Compliance or risk related products in a product management role Platform product management experience, building products that can be leveraged by a variety of business customers Understand the needs of your customers, prioritize, continuously building and iterating Ability to narrate a story for what problem you’re solving for and the vision you’re going after, combined with the capacity to dive into minute details Ability to create partnerships both inside and outside of the Product organisation Exceptional decision making skills: given limited resources, how do you prioritize across needs? Thrives in a startup environment: loves dealing with fast pace, changing needs, and limited resources.

Preferred Qualifications: Compliance: prior experience working with compliance including KYC, GST. Fintech experience strongly preferred Technical chops: experience as an engineer Growth mindset: effectively balances the need to protect the community with the need to grow the community Scale: knows how to start small but build big
