We’re looking for a marketing generalist to oversee important aspects of marketing and comms with a focus on driving higher direct engagement with existing and prospective customers leveraging external sources. This role would oversee public relations, organic social media, review sites, and digital events, while opening up a new focus on areas like live events, digital communities, and more. The ideal candidate is excited to work cross-functionally to build the OneSignal business community’s investment in the business.
In a typical month, the Community Marketing Manager at OneSignal might: -Drive a renewed focus on our online presence (including PR, social media, digital communities and more) to reflect our changing company and positioning needs -Manage the relationship between OneSignal and our PR agency, along with the day-to-day PR tasks (media replies, award submissions, etc.) -Responsible for growth in OneSignal’s community support of b2b reviews; increasing customer engagement of events, webinars, podcast, and follow-through of customer stories (case studies) -Serve as the organic social media manager, building a channel-specific strategy to grow the community in these locations and deliver repeatable SQL’s via organic & paid social channels -Work closely with our Developer Relations team to outline our business community strategy and presence, determining swim lanes and shared ownership areas to increase the vibrancy of OneSignal market share -Work closely with the head of marketing and content marketer on third-party research to validate our market and products in 2021 -Own and develop our events program, including webinar & podcast coordination, marketing events, and more
What you'll bring: -5+ years experience in a marketing role, ideally with a b2b SasS product. A minimum of 1 year in a social and/or events marketing position is a requirement -Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with serious attention to detail -Experience managing and executing cross-functional projects with a variety of stakeholders and moving pieces -An energetic and problem-solving attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment -A passion for understanding the customer, their needs, and how we can best address them, as well as excitement to engage and grow a community -A growth and data-driven mindset and are excited about consistently testing, measuring, and iterating
