The Opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager – Risk Analysis who can operate at the core of the finance team. You’ll be working directly with the CPO, and have an opportunity to scale with us, including receiving equity rewards at an early stage with a rapidly growing company.

We're looking for a client oriented financial ninja who can help build a completely new tech product which will change the way that startups raise non-dilutive financing.

You will be accelerating client success by building financial projections and creating informational materials. In addition, you will be giving feedback to clients on their financial performance and suggesting ways to structure their financing facilities. As part of a rapidly growing and tech enabled enterprise, you will need to work on product development and interface with our technology team in deploying the latest tools. You'll spend time with clients, with lenders and with Perl Street colleagues globally.

As a part of this role, you'll also get exposed to the world of next-generation distributed hardware systems, clean technologies, and the financial metrics and calculations driving these projects forward.

What You’ll Do

• Work with the technology team to build technology products and platforms for client success.
• Deploy the tools and processes and work on their continuous improvement.
• Interface with clients to establish credit roadmaps though the analysis of clients’ financials.
• Initial market sounding by development of summary informational materials (teasers, rough projections, debt sizing etc.)
• Development of informational materials such as teasers, financial projections, information memoranda and other documents. Updating these documents.
• Proposing financial structures and terms which meet the client needs.
• Management of deal rooms and disclosure process including addressing due diligence queries.
• Interfacing with technology team to propose product development priorities as well as ways to streamline the processes above using technology.
• Mentoring and management of junior colleagues and contractors to assist in the above.
• Updating internal systems and senior team members on deal status.

Skills/Abilities/Qualifications

• Intimate knowledge of financial modeling and analysis – ideally 5-7 years or more.
• Worked as a Business Analyst or other Technology Product Management role.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Client service experience is a bonus.
• Exposure to Project Finance, Structured Finance or Commercial Lending in structuring, portfolio/risk management or advisory is highly desirable.
• Work experience in climate-tech, energy-tech, distributed resources and related areas is a bonus
• Highly developed ability to organize and project manage self and team.
• Unrelenting focus on client and colleague success rather than rules and frameworks.
• Very flexible mindset – constantly learning, supporting, challenging and growing.
