Who are we looking for? You are central to our continued success, delivering valuable content to solo business owners and across the country. We are looking for an experienced marketing professional with strong editorial skills who can elevate our content marketing efforts across the board — and make PocketSuite the trusted choice for professionals who own their business. You are a strategic thinker who are all about execution. You will work with our Growth Team & Sales Team who own execution of marketing and sales/partnerships, ensuring delivery of consistent and impactful stories that drive growth. Reporting to the CEO, this full-time role will work remotely.

What will you be doing?

  • Define the content marketing strategy to drive partner acquisition and partner conversion.
  • Conceive, write, and produce various types of content for PocketSuite's marketing landing pages, partners, blog, emails, paid media campaigns, and more.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Growth teams to package, distribute, and test content across channels, continually innovating and optimizing our approach.
  • Partner with Sales/Partnership Team to define go-to-market plans to drive new Partner acquisition/marketing & promotions, and client/member conversion.
  • Manage content operations, budgets, and media asset production with internal team and a network of freelance writers.
  • Monitor content performance and report results to key stakeholders across the company.

Are there any requirements?

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or a related field.
  • Proven ability in content creation
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to present strategic concepts and recommendations
  • Strong analytical thinker.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • A true self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience
  • Consumer and/or mobile marketing background [a plus]
  • Payments, SaaS, and fintech knowledge and interest [a plus]
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics [a plus]
  • Experience with both B2B and B2C content [a plus]
  • No one (reasonable) you know would describe you as an asshole.
  • Everyone you've worked closely with would rank you in their top 5
  • You should be able to ace our basic technical interview [no puzzles, no tricks]
  • You're not into shiny new things and TechCrunch headlines
  • You are all about building systems that create real value for real people - over the long term
  • The details matter to you [polished design and copy, alignment across brand assets] and you take lots of pride in your work.
