Who Are We Looking For? We're looking for a Business Development Representative [outbound sales development] who is excited about consultative selling to Enterprise prospects. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to identify and engage prospective clients. You will learn about the analytics goals of prospective customers to find out if they are a good fit for PocketSuite.

You will have the unique opportunity to work cross functionally with all departments to help drive new business. These partners are industry associations, training and certification programs, micro-business focused coaching organizations, and marketing & social media consultants. There are over 50 million solopreneurs in this country and most of them belong to at least one of these organizations. We want you to unlock the doors.

The Skills We’re Looking For

  • 0-2 years of sales experience
  • Open to feedback, genuinely curious and constantly looking for ways to learn and improve
  • Genuine love of technology and passionate about helping micro businesses scale and succeed
  • You are a hunter by nature and not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to strangers
  • Obsessed about hitting your monthly targets by being results oriented and focused on achieving, through self-discipline, creativity and passion

Within 1 month you will...

  • Be able to drive the PocketSuite app like a Pro.
  • Have a deep understanding of 2 of our meta-verticals: personas of the Pros, key success elements of our existing partnerships, the eco-system of partner prospects.
  • Conduct market research in each of our target verticals to identify the key players, how they make money and retain their members, and why PocketSuite is a must-have for their continued success.
  • Ramp into the day-to-day life of a BDR focused on initiating outbound lead generation and responding to inbound leads.
  • Establish a cadence of communication with the Marketing/Partnership leadership team.

Within 3 months you will...

  • Help drive new partnerships.
  • Own your metrics from top to bottom.
  • Partner with Marketing and create a feedback loop based on your outreach.
  • Represent PocketSuite at industry events and trade-shows.
