PolicyFly is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead the post-sales onboarding and implementation process for clients.
In this role you will
- Develop a repeatable process for post-sales client intake and onboarding
- Map client requirements to detailed specs while differentiating between configuration tasks and requirements that require new platform capabilities to be built
- Lead the execution of the onboarding process by building insurance applications on our development platform
- Develop a deep understanding of PolicyFly’s platform, configuration, and APIs, and give pointed technical feedback to our platform engineering teams to improve the onboarding experience
- Write Lua and TypeScript code to transform deep and complex JSON insurance data to compute values such as deductibles and premiums
- Co-own the project timeline with our Product team
- Mentor junior solutions engineers and train them on the processes, tools, and workflows you are developing
Skills and experience we appreciate
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences
- Domain experience in property and casualty insurance, or other financial services
- Experience with scripting data processing pipelines using languages such as Python, Lua, or JavaScript
- Experience with writing unit tests for data processing logic
- Experience building enterprise applications on a PaaS (Platform as a Service) like Salesforce or SAP
- Experience in one of the following roles or similar: Full-stack Engineer, Integrations Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer

- Comfortable working remotely, overlapping EST +/- 6 hours
