About the Role

The Marketing Project Manager role is central to Tydo's success by supporting, managing, and pushing through our ever-growing number of marketing initiatives to the finish line. You will be in charge of efficiently managing all our marketing initiatives, launches, and campaigns' process, timelines, and workflow with an emphasis on deadlines. You will have a direct impact and responsibility in making Tydo more effective and efficient at achieving our ambitious goals. Organized and empathetic in nature, this person will serve as the liaison between all marketing team members and the other departments that have dependencies like product, partnerships, customer support, design, engineering, etc. Your ability to identify priorities and influence individuals among conflicting work styles and motivations will be crucial to your success.

Who you’ll be working with

You’ll work directly with the Director of Marketing and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Content Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, Design, and more!

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all marketing team projects, launches, and initiatives considering all phases from ideation through delivery, including contingencies and dependencies.
  • Serve as project manager between marketing, creative, partnerships, product, and various internal and external partners.
  • Build the marketing team's process and infrastructure by determining the best ways of working across multiple functions and which tools are most effective in facilitating based on process and team personality.
  • Create, communicate, and maintain timelines and scope throughout a marketing project’s life cycle.
  • Evaluate and define internal and external resource needs and availability for marketing project requests.
  • Coordinate with internal resources and third parties (agencies, freelancers, vendors) for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Organize and lead recurring meetings to support all marketing and creative needs, documenting team action items.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, Head of Customer Success, and VP of Product to develop, maintain and improve processes and utilize project management tools, documentation, & communication channels to ensure team alignment.
  • Help with onboarding new team members and organizing internal documentation.

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably marketing. Bonus if you have experience with a startup.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, including various forms of project tracking, documentation, and processes.
  • Familiar with project management software and tools, i.e. Notion, ClickUp or similar
  • Demonstrates ability to build relationships and influence colleagues inside and outside of your immediate team in a cross-functional environment, working with people who have diversity in work ethic and motivations.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics and adjust delivery for a variety of audiences i.e. multiple departments and partners.
  • Proficiency in constructing project plans, holding relevant parties accountable, and delivering results on time, all the time.
  • You generally maintain a positive mentality, especially during stressful situations.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have a profoundly collaborative mindset and approach to work. You recognize that, especially as we continue to define our team structure, roles are somewhat fluid. You are willing to contribute outside of your direct job description and become an expert in new areas.
  • A true self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing your own priorities, and adapting where challenges and opportunities are commonplace. You are enthusiastic about remote work.
