Medicinal Chemistry powered by Machine Learning
What is the Role?
We're looking for a medicinal chemist to drive our drug discovery projects, who is also excited about partnering with machine learning scientists and software developers to advance our computational platforms that accelerate compound design and synthesis.
Required
At least 3-5 years industry experience on medicinal chemistry projects.
A passion for solving complex design and synthesis problems in small molecule drug discovery.
Past experience in the lab doing synthetic chemistry, ideally as applied to drug discovery.
Desired
Knowledge of chemoinformatics and computational chemistry.
Knowledge of computational tools used for library design and structure-based methods such as docking or FEP.
Some experience with programming and Unix. Most importantly, we seek applicants who desire to improve their computational skills and combine them with an in depth knowledge of Chemistry.
About PostEra
PostEra is building a modern biopharma, using machine learning to accelerate medicinal chemistry. We have raised over $26M from top investors, established two strategic partnerships with Pfizer, secured a multi-year partnership with the NIH to prevent pandemics, and are in the process of building our internal pipeline. We also launched and help lead the world's largest open-science initiative to find a COVID antiviral; COVID Moonshot.
PostEra offers Medicinal Chemistry powered by Machine Learning
PostEra offers medicinal chemistry powered by machine learning. Drug discovery R&D is slow and expensive and this has limited the biopharma industry from getting new drugs into development and new cures to patients. PostEra is building an end-to-end med chem platform, powered by ML, to develop new cures for diseases and serve the world's ever expanding community of drug hunters.
We've raised $26M from top tech/healthcare investors and signed large multi-year deals with companies like Pfizer and the NIH to find new cures for diseases.
What are we working on?
The answer is many things but here's our top priorities right now:
