About the role

With a distributed world and the removal of in-person interactions, there's now an extra layer of visibility needed in projects for teammate assistance, coordination and overall collaboration. Unfortunately, with multiple deliverables falling through the cracks, this is quite noticeable for revenue-driving teams managing multi-million dollar deals. Prelay is disrupting the way teams work together to drive revenue. Teams, individuals involved in both software evaluations and implementations work together within Prelay to move large revenue opportunities forward. We're at an exciting time in our company's journey and looking for people who want to navigate the market with our team.

We're backed by investors including top-tier funds like Y Combinator, SV Angel, and Liquid2 Ventures, as well as executives from Box, Dropbox, Palantir, SAP, and Microsoft. Our team is made up of passionate, motivated, curious individuals coming from innovative companies like Google, LinkedIn, Nextdoor and Heap.

As our first Product Manager, you’ll own large and company-critical product initiatives end-to-end. You’ll tackle everything from strategic planning to product development and public launch. You’ll be talking to our customers, partners, and internal teams such as Sales and Customer Success to get input and build world-class products.

What you’ll do

  • Own the product roadmap, end-to-end product initiatives, timeline, and results in collaboration with and reporting to the CEO (Head of Product)
  • Establish a shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities and product roadmap, by deeply understanding and engaging with our customers and users, balancing immediate needs with our vision
  • Partner with our CEO, Engineering, Design, GTM, to prioritize, plan, and execute company-wide product initiatives, from inception to launch
  • Drive customer-focused decisions, clear prioritization, reliable timelines, and efficient execution in the face of ambiguity and complexity
  • Work closely with Engineering and Design at every stage of product development, from discovery to design to implementation
  • Define and analyze metrics to understand effectiveness of product initiatives, to inform future prioritization and decision making
  • Build processes that will scale as our team and company grows

As an early Product Manager hire, we’re looking for people who are eager to exceed these expectations:

  • 4+ years product management experience
  • Knowledge of Sales & Support systems
  • Self-starter relating to tasks, requests, and documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Recognized as a collaborative and influential leader; a great partner to all functions
  • Strong track record of owning end-to-end initiatives and launching impactful products
  • Exceptional product sense and strategic thinking
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience with Sales tools is a plus
