About the role

⚡ What you'll do

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve our backend infrastructure
  • Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Work closely with our Chief Technology Officer, contributing strategically and playing a key role in the product development process

🎯 What we're looking for

  • 4+ years experience as a backend software engineer or similar engineering role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • Understanding of continuous integration and deployment
  • Required experience with the following: Typescript, GraphQL, Express, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, hosting and deployment
  • Preferred experience with some of the following: Hasura, Heroku, frontend UI libraries, Twilio, Expo, React Native
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address dynamic, complex problems early
  • Desire to work with or experience working with small teams in an agile, startup environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills of technical concepts
