About the Job:

We are seeking a Director of Operations to lead our procurement, sourcing, manufacturing, and fulfillment efforts. In this role, you will help lead everything we do that touches our supply chain from the early component sourcing through to the end customer’s unboxing. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of supply chains, has a highly analytical and technical skillset, and thrives in a fast-moving, rapidly evolving organization. We need someone who can connect the dots across the entire supply chain, and work collaboratively with marketing, engineering, and our third party providers. The ideal candidate is someone who has the passion to be part of a game changing company and sees this position as a chance to succeed and grow into a larger role as the company continues to expand.

What You’ll Do:

  • Architect and continuously evolve an operations strategy that supports PROVEN’s brand growth and allows us to meet our ambitious goals
  • Proactively manage, maintain and strengthen all of PROVEN’s third party relationships - with OEMs, suppliers, third party contract manufacturers, fulfillment partners, and with delivery partners
  • Create, implement and lead company in best-in-class Operations best practices
  • Coordinate with all in-house and remote teams on product/materials tracking and availability, and data consistency for fulfillment operations
  • Collaborate with internal and third-party teams to create true accuracy and reliability around shipment contents, shipment status, and delivery expectations with all parties.
  • Partner with Marketing, Growth, and Tech teams on demand planning and its flow through to supply planning
  • Proactively identify and resolve any challenges within the supply chain ecosystem, and develop processes to help mitigate going forward
  • Build relationships with relevant potential partners across the supply chain spectrum, and work closely with leadership to define opportunities for supply chain optimization
  • Measure and report on supply chain performance at a regular cadence to make actionable and educated recommendations
  • Develop and execute a procurement savings strategy, from primary packaging to manufacturing to secondary packaging to fulfillment to shipping by negotiating with new and existing partners (while also maintaining quality and reliability of supply chain outputs)
  • Stay on top of, and report on, all developments in the direct-to-consumer supply chain landscape and develop an informed POV about how to best incorporate them into our current strategy
  • Be a diligent and dedicated brand steward, ensuring that of our products and customer experience meet our standards and guidelines, and creates happy customers

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Ideally 7+ years of hands-on & leadership experience in Operations/Supply Chain with positions of increasing responsibility, with bonus points if it’s for a consumer brand
  • Expert in navigating sourcing/procurement, planning, manufacturing, and fulfillment
  • Excited by the challenge of developing strategies and implementing plans to improve and standardize all aspects of operations; excited by smooth & singing operations
  • Experience in consumer goods and/or beauty is a plus
