Our product hunt launch: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/puzzl

Payroll is the backbone of American society. 180 million American employees earn over $8.8 trillion in payroll every year. Many companies want to embed payroll into their products to add an extra stream of revenue and offer their customers end-to-end platform functionality.

This is where Puzzl comes in. We’re solving difficult problems and truly believe in building something people love.

If you’re interested in collaborating with motivated peers, leading a new category of embedded fintech, and changing the way people think about payroll, we’d love to hear from you!

Part of building something people love is turning visions into tangible products. We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for building features end-to-end, who’s comfortable collaborating with Product, Design, and Backend teams to create an amazing experience for our users. You’ll be touching every customer-facing product--from white label dashboards to our API Documentation. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a fun, entrepreneurial, start-up team where you can have outsized impact. Beyond engineering, you will play an instrumental role in building Puzzl’s culture and help with hiring and mentorship.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in building maintainable, scalable code and creating flexible, composable libraries/components
  • You're an expert in Javascript/Typescript, Redux, React, and Node
  • 5+ years of experience in professional front-end development (ideally some of which working in startups)
  • You are detail-oriented but can keep up with timelines
  • Able to balance speed and quality when building

Why you should join Puzzl

Puzzl is a fintech startup focused on building payroll infrastructure. We help companies to build their own embedded payroll products.
