Position Title: Aerospace Regulatory Affairs Intern – FAA Part 450 Compliance
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 Months

**About the Role:**
Reditus Space is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented graduate intern to support our efforts in securing FAA Part 450 reentry licensing for our reusable space vehicle. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the intersection of spaceflight operations, regulatory compliance, and systems engineering. You’ll work directly with Reditus Space leadership, our Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) engineering team, and a network of seasoned aerospace regulatory consultants to ensure our reentry operations are fully compliant with evolving FAA standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including hazard analyses, flight safety assessments, and compliance matrices
  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams to translate technical system details into regulatory documentation
  • Support collaboration with external consultants and industry experts, integrating best practices and feedback into compliance workflows
  • Track evolving FAA Part 450 requirements and help ensure alignment with Reditus Space’s mission profile and vehicle design
  • Prepare materials and summaries for leadership and regulatory stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Current graduate student in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, public policy, or a related field
  • Strong technical communication skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with FAA Part 450 or spaceflight licensing processes is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work across technical and regulatory domains
  • Passion for commercial spaceflight and reusable systems
