Software Engineer with Conversational AI emphasis

We are hiring a full-stack ML developer to work with me, the CTO, in building additional features that will enable our platform to scale smoothly and meet the demands of our customers. Examples include reporting tools, automation tools, API's, LLMs, and NLP engines. Experience in NLP and AI preferred. This role could be a full-time or contractor position. Here at Sameday, we’re looking for engineers who enjoy talking to customers, iterating & shipping quickly, and exhibit a strong sense of ownership and autonomy. Our small teams of engineers largely define and drive their own roadmap, and use their product sense to define and ship features and future product integrations.

Our interview process is designed to find these kinds of engineers. Moreover, we try to ask questions that are relevant to the types of products we build -- mostly full stack work, with a bit of database, analysis and customer interaction. In most cases, the interview process is geared toward our language stack, but we are open to engineers with other experience.

Initial Interview (15 mins): Meet with CTO and discuss skills and experience

Technical Interview (45 mins): Meet with CTO for a technical interview. (Details will be shared before the interview)

Final Interview and compensation discussion (15 mins): Meet with CEO and CTO to discuss compensation and other logistical details.
