Testing Intern (Onsite)

Location: El Segundo, California (Full Time In Office)

The Role

We are seeking a Testing Intern to help us collect data from different fish species. This person will be interacting with live or dead fish on a weekly basis to build up our robot species datasets for machine learning training. They will also support the engineering team with general test room needs such as cleaning, organizing, shelving, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional engineering teams with robot testing
• Collaborate in a multi disciplinary team to improve robot behavior
• Report failure modes & usability to engineering team

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• This is a non-technical role! We are looking for someone who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty and has a positive attitude
• Good organization and time management skills
• Curious about robots and the chance to learn about them
• Enthusiastic about our mission - Harness technology to democratize artisanal food

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a high school diploma or higher
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 40lbs
• Be comfortable cutting, dissecting, and handling fish
