About the role

Snapdocs is a rapidly growing company backed by investors like Sequoia, Y Combinator, F-Prime and Tiger Global. We're an innovative team taking on the extensive mortgage market, bringing scalable and sophisticated software to a pillar of the US economy that still relies on fax machines and manila envelopes.

At Snapdocs, we are on a mission to enhance the real estate closing process with efficiency and transparency so that lenders can close their loans sooner and home buyers can move into their dream homes quicker. To help us accomplish this mission, we are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our growing team! You will be responsible for building the technology that transitions the real estate industry from an archaic, paper-based workflow to a fully digitized experience. If this sounds exciting, read on…

As a Principal Product Manager you will be an integral part of our product team, and focus on building technology integrations directly into the software our customers use most often. This will save our customers time and effort, optimizing their workflow and will help transition the real estate industry from an archaic, paper-based workflow to a fully digitized eClose experience. You will own and define the platform interfaces that power Snapdocs products as well as the products that our end-users experience directly. You will work to think strategically and unlock the potential of two systems through an integration that excites and inspires you. You can see the big picture and can bring this challenge to life.

We are targeting Product leaders with 6+ years of experience building products with clear, demonstrable results, preferably with an enterprise, B2B, platform and/or API integration focus. Additionally, you have 3+ years leading a technical product area, developing a multi-year vision, strategy and roadmap and you have a Computer Science or coding bootcamp degree. You have a seasoned ability to establish, build and enhance a company’s public APIs and off-the-shelf integrations with 3rd party software & backend systems. You have a strong technical acumen and technical understanding, such that you can engage with your engineering counterparts in a collaborative and highly productive manner. You have the ability to clearly communicate with engineering and technical teams across Snapdocs and 3rd party partners. Lastly, you have a strong track record of dealing with complex systems and building products in a way that supports scaling and can quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.

Colorado applicants: This role pays $164,450-$191,150 annually plus equity in the company (pay for other locations may vary).

Why you should join Snapdocs

Snapdocs powers homeownership. Using technology, we’re building the connective tissue for an entire pillar of the U.S. economy: residential real estate.

Today, we’re working to perfect mortgage closings, but that’s only the beginning. If we succeed, more than five million families per year will gain clarity and transparency as they make the biggest financial decision of their lives: buying a home. Before Snapdocs, no one felt responsible or empowered to solve the problems we face every day we come to the office.

It's complex and difficult work, and the result is not an app we brag about at tech industry parties. Instead, we're making a difference and carefully building a team that shares our priorities—pragmatism, respect and empathy for our clients, and building honest products that improve all our users’ lives.
