Strategy & Operations Manager at Snapdocs
About the role
Snapdocs is a rapidly growing company backed by investors like Sequoia, Y Combinator, F-Prime and Tiger Global. We're an innovative team taking on the extensive mortgage market, bringing scalable and sophisticated software to a pillar of the US economy that still relies on fax machines and manila envelopes.
Snapdocs is building out its Strategy team and we need a Strategy & Operations manager to improve efficiencies and drive growth with a focus on go-to-market. Are you self-motivated, highly analytical, data-driven and are willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make the business successful? Then we should talk.
The Strategy & Operations manager will collaborate closely with our leadership team to identify, analyze, and resolve the critical issues facing our business. You will lead cross-functional projects, coordinating with leaders from across the company to drive results. Using data to deeply understand the drivers of our business, you will proactively identify ways to improve performance, effectiveness, and efficiency. You will use data-driven insight to drive everything from growth strategy to customer value to sales enablement. You’ll be involved in everything from go-to-market strategies, to building new workflows and playbooks, to collaborating directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we’re delivering our best to the market. This role is a unique opportunity to drive outsized value at a fast-growing organization.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree (MBA a plus) with at least 4 years experience in consulting, strategy, operations or related experience. You have strong strategic and analytical skills and a proven track record of leading initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a fast-paced team environment. You should be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, highly team-oriented, inquisitive, enjoy problem solving, effectively communicating, and focused on using your analytical aptitude to drive results. SQL knowledge is a huge plus. Your team views you as a hyper-effective person who can get scrappy, connect the overall vision back to financial strategy, and generally “gets stuff done,” always with sound business judgment. Most importantly, you will build strong relationships and use excellent communication to reach alignment across cross-functional teams to keep projects on track.
Snapdocs strongly values diversity and drive. We want to work with people of different backgrounds and different paths in life, and we trust our team to make smart decisions. Why you should join Snapdocs
Snapdocs powers homeownership. Using technology, we’re building the connective tissue for an entire pillar of the U.S. economy: residential real estate.
Today, we’re working to perfect mortgage closings, but that’s only the beginning. If we succeed, more than five million families per year will gain clarity and transparency as they make the biggest financial decision of their lives: buying a home. Before Snapdocs, no one felt responsible or empowered to solve the problems we face every day we come to the office.
It's complex and difficult work, and the result is not an app we brag about at tech industry parties. Instead, we're making a difference and carefully building a team that shares our priorities—pragmatism, respect and empathy for our clients, and building honest products that improve all our users’ lives.
