🐳 About the Role We’re looking for a Founding Machine Learning Engineer to join us to build the engineering foundations of Sonnet.
🦄️ Your Impact Lead technical design and implementation of our ML pipelines Define how data flows and how infra is managed from scratch Directly drive the product roadmap and impact business metrics Define our engineering culture and build a world-class team with us
✨ Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent technical experience 3+ years working experience with deep learning in industry or academia or can demonstrate an equivalent level of competency in the area Experience with natural language models like BERT, GPT, etc. Experience implementing ML models in a production environment Strong software engineering background with a good understanding of computer architecture and how it affects inference speed Enjoy and thrive in fast-moving startups and highly autonomous environment
🚀 Good to have Experience with Reinforcement Learning and related learning algorithms Experience with fine-tuning and prompt engineering on large language models Experience working with acceleration techniques such as quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation Experience working with Amazon SageMaker for training large machine learning models
