About Stayflexi: Stayflexi is an end-to-end fully automated management and sales engine for hotels and vacation rentals. Our platform enables seamless management, distribution, and sale of hotel/vacation rental supplies (rooms and amenities) on a flexible basis. With over 1600 properties live, Stayflexi is making waves in the PropTech space and offers exciting opportunities to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the frontend development of web applications
- Develop responsive UI components using React concepts
- Collaborate with teams, product members, and business users to ideate and build efficient web features
- Review application requirements and interface designs with development team
- Identify user interactions and troubleshoot interface software
- Aid in UI/UX design and integration with backend components
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in UI/UX development
- Strong React and JavaScript skills
- Excellent front-end coding skills and knowledge of progressive web applications
- UI/UX design skills and understanding of web technology
- Basic understanding of Restful APIs and ability to write secure and efficient code
- Performance optimization and scalability knowledge for web applications
- Practical thinker with a balance of optimizing time while reducing tech debt
Bonus: Ownership mindset Background in travel tech or interest in travel/hospitality Comfortable with fast-paced environments

About the interview
Phone Screen: A brief phone call with HR to discuss the candidate's background, experience, and interest in the role.
Technical Screen: A technical screening call with a development team member to assess the candidate's technical skills and understanding of React and JavaScript.
Code Challenge: The candidate will be given a coding challenge to assess their ability to write secure, testable, and efficient code.
Phone Interview (Onsite for Bangalore based candidates): Interviews with the development team and product managers to discuss the candidate's experience, portfolio, and approach to problem-solving.
Design Challenge: The candidate will be given a design challenge to assess their UI/UX design skills and understanding of web technology.
Cultural Fit Interview: An interview with HR to assess the candidate's fit with the company culture and values.
Reference Check: A reference check with the candidate's previous managers and colleagues to verify their work experience and skills.
About Stayflexi
Stayflexi is fundamentally breaking the noon to noon booking model fabric, making every asset of the hotel (rooms, amenities) to be sold on flexible basis. 80% of hotel guests seek for early checkins and late checkouts, 40% of the hotel rooms and amenities are unsold. We are basically enabling true hospitality through technology - Guests should be able to checkin and checkout anytime, and to be able to access hotel amenities with ease.
We are currently offering end to end management and sales platform to hotels, through which hotels can offer direct flexible sales to guests. We are live across 1200 hotels in 6 different countries.
