Student Operations Manager, Onboarding

Stepful is one of the fastest growing startups based out of New York City. We launched two years ago and have already graduated over a thousand students. Our graduates, mainly from underprivileged communities, go on to work at leading healthcare institutions such as OneMedical, NY Presbytarian and Davita.

The founding team is uniquely positioned to grow Stepful to be the leader in healthcare education. Each founder brings in relevant experience coming from leadership roles at Udacity, Apple, and Uber.

Stepful is backed by Y Combinator and recently closed a round led by Reach Capital, the leading EdTech investor in the US.

What you’ll do:

• Lead operational processes to deliver the best onboarding experience
• Oversee operations for a growing team of admissions and success coaches
• Develop and execute creative initiatives and experiments to improve the onboarding experience for students and coaches
• Own and achieve onboarding success metrics
• Gather and analyze student success data and address areas for improvement
• Work cross-functionally with our product, engineering, and growth teams to provide visibility into the onboarding experience and help inform their roadmaps

This job is for you if:

• You have 3+ years of consulting or operational experience in a direct-to-consumer startup
• You are highly analytical with strong communication skills
• You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done successfully
• You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty
• You learn quickly through experimentations
• You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Bonus points if:

• You have taught or coordinated online courses at scale
• You worked in healthcare
