About the role

At Strive School we are looking for the first Growth hire that will be instrumental in shaping and driving the foundations of our growth strategy to acquire new students and grow our brand.

About you

We are looking for someone who understands Growth as a system and has the knowledge and skills to grow that system.

  • 2-3+ years of experience in a similar Growth/Marketing role at a fast-growing startup.
  • You are a generalist – you understand most marketing channels and how they fit together. Experience with performance marketing and content is a plus.
  • You understand why building a community matters and how to do it.
  • You are a systems thinker – you understand a company as a system of loops, and can figure out what are the best levers to pull to make it grow.
  • You are able to switch from top down strategic "map mode" to bottom up and hands on "territory mode" .
  • You are comfortable with no-code tools and love automating yourself out of a process.
  • You are data-informed – spreadsheets are your friends, but data isn’t the only thing that matters when making a decision.
  • Ability to prioritize and get things done with minimum direction.

Your goals and day to day

Strive School’s 6 months key objective is to build our own differentiated distribution channel we can acquire customers from.

As our first Growth hire, you’ll be tasked with acquiring new students, establishing hiring partnerships and building our brand in Europe.

  • Acquiring new students. Everything starts with students. We’ve managed to successfully attract more students than we can support right now, but we’d like to become the go-to place for people considering a technical education in Europe.
  • Acquiring new hiring partners. Building partnerships with HR teams that trust the quality of our education is a key factor in increasing successful outcomes.
  • Establishing our brand via content. It’s important for us to be the go-to place for students and hiring teams. This serves as a dealflow and powerful moat.

On any given day, you might:

  • Put together an engine that turns successful customer stories into content pieces we can use
  • Do 4-5 customer interviews with current students to understand why they joined the program
  • Optimize a Facebook Ads campaign and test new creatives
  • Launch a cold outreach campaign to kick-off hiring partnerships
  • Create a landing page in Webflow

You’ll be working closely with Tobi and Diego (founders) to put together a strategy and execute it.
