About the Role

Swayable is searching for an Account Executive to join our Sales team. This is a key role responsible for executing sales strategy to grow our SaaS business. You will be engaging with senior leaders at major global brands and agencies to help them reach and inspire their ideal audiences. 

Swayable is a fast-growing, cloud analytics product that measures public opinion and the impact of messages and advertising content on it. Its 30-person team is backed by top technology and social impact investors, including Y Combinator. Founded in 2018 by two physics PhDs, it is led by the former Executive Director for Digital Strategy at the New York Times. Clients include major consumer-facing brands (Airbnb, Square, Paramount Pictures, Amazon), researchers (MIT, Yale, Stanford) and mission-aligned advocacy campaigns (including multiple Democratic Presidential candidates).

Your Responsibilities

  • Build client relationships, conduct negotiations, and drive deal closing through all stages of the sales funnel
  • Qualify in-market opportunities and develop sales strategy by researching the specialized analytics market and identifying top opportunities
  • Partner closely with Business Development Representatives to align on outreach strategy and develop a continuous pipeline of leads 
  • Apply a value-driven sales framework to accelerate Swayable’s business

Your Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • 2-4 years of proven success in a full cycle sales capacity at a SaaS startup company 
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex customer problems, create business insights, develop actionable recommendations and tell stories based on data sets
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex enterprise technologies, their customer value, and potential objections 
  • Intellectually curious, motivated, and driven by a passion to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you are an expert at persuasion
  • Organized, system-oriented, and meticulous 
  • Experience in data platforms or analytics markets a plus
  • Interest in advocacy a plus

  • New York, NY strongly preferred for this role. Other locations in U.S. may be considered for exceptional candidates
