ABOUT THE COMPANY

Swayable is a fast-growing, cloud analytics product that measures public opinion and the impact of messages and advertising content on it. Its 30-person team is backed by top technology and social impact investors, including Y Combinator. Founded in 2018 by two physics PhDs, it is led by the former Executive Director for Digital Strategy at the New York Times. Clients include major consumer-facing brands (Airbnb, Square, Paramount Pictures, Amazon), researchers (MIT, Yale, Stanford) and mission-aligned advocacy campaigns (including multiple Democratic Presidential candidates).

JOB OVERVIEW

Swayable is hiring a Marketing Manager / Marketing & Sales Operations Manager - to manage key elements of our company’s marketing process - CRM marketing, leadgen, leadflow, content management, digital media, and event logistics

• Ideal candidates have experience managing marketing operations at B2B companies

• This position will report to Marketing / Sales leadership, and interact internally with sales, client, product, and executive teams — as well as key external contractors and partners.

• LOCATION: New York, NY (Ideal) - but we are a remote-friendly team with optional in-person hubs in New York and San Francisco.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE...

• Digital Marketing Management: Email marketing, Digital/social media campaigns - all to increase awareness and generate qualified leads. 

• Leadgen & Leadflow (via Hubspot CRM): Managing the day to day process of qualifying inbound leads, routing to appropriate Sellers, and reporting on key results and optimization opportunities — providing quality workflow to support our Marketing and Sales efforts

• Content marketing efforts — leveraging existing data and success stories to create compelling marketing materials with the assistance of contract writers, designers, etc

• Event Management: Support our external industry focus by organizing our participation at top industry events - before, during, and after the event. Some travel expected. 

• Overall Marketing Operations: Management of collateral, internal / external marketing work - to make sure all employees and stakeholders have what they need from the Marketing and Sales organization. 

ABOUT YOU

• 1-2+ years of marketing experience at a B2B marketing companyStartup experience a plusBA/BS or College Degree Preferred (not required)

• Strong familiarity with: CRM Solutions (Hubspot, Salesforce), Digital Media Management (Google / LinkedIn / Facebook, ABM), Design / Creative Resources (Adobe Suite, Keynote, Canva, Figma, etc), Collaboration Tools (Google Docs, Slack, etc); while mastery of all solutions are not required - a comfort / willingness to learn quickly is expected.  

• Ability to think big, pay attention to detail: See the big picture and seek opportunities to optimize process; ensure great user experience in all of the work we deliver, internally or externally; communicate and build relationships well; track record of project management and excellence in marketing execution, comfort with data / analytics

• Self-Motivated and Results Oriented: Ability to work autonomously - staying organized and show/track progress regularly to management; ability to work remotely - flexible to work hours sometimes spanning time zones to support clients and internal meetings; curiosity / interest to understand new industries, methods and  processes — ability to ramp up and learn quickly
