Our Structural Engineering team is currently looking to hire Structural Engineers for our remote-first company. We want someone passionate about structural engineering and problem-solving. We use our proprietary cloud-based software to provide structural engineering services focusing on new design and evaluating existing single-family and residential buildings.

Essential Duties

• Perform a wide range of basic structural engineering analysis and design tasks for wood structures.
• Assist Principal Engineer in reviewing structural engineering documentation
• Complete drawings and specifications according to the California Building Code.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

A professional demeanor and desire to learn are essential to this position.

• Graduated Civil Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience working as a Structural Engineer.
• Location: Anywhere in Latinamerica.
• English language proficiency: ability to use the English language fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
• Communication skills: excellent written, oral, and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey information to coworkers and senior staff clearly.
• Software: Experience using ETABS, REVIT, Autocad. Familiarity with TEKLA TEDDS and Python is a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines. Willingness to take the independent initiative to ensure tasks are completed within a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm, passion, and desire for continued learning of new software and technologies.
