Description Tenjin and GameAnalytics family is looking for a Technical Team Lead of Data-Integration-PaaS with extended Data Engineering experience and managing experience to lead and build the Engineering Team of our newly launched product, growthfullstack.com.
The idea for the product first came when both Tenjin and GameAnalytics decided to help their respective clients navigate through the new privacy-first marketing landscape in 2021 and rebuilt their data stack.
We are building a Data Integration Platform-as-a-Service that aims to deliver raw data, reports, and automated decisions to our clients' data warehouses or tools.
We do this around a business niche - mobile marketing - that involves highly generalizable business processes and vast amounts of data.
Remote working is in our DNA. This job can be performed remotely, within Europe. We are a diverse and highly collaborative team based all around the world. Our Headquarters are in San Francisco, London and Berlin, but we also have team members based in Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Shanghai, London, Copenhagen and Tokyo.
Requirements Have 8+ years of proven industry experience with a focus on data processing at scale, with some experience leading engineering teams Python Knowledge for back-end with Flask framework Front-End experience - any language is accepted You have experience in hiring and building high-performance engineering teams. You are adaptable and understand the startup context. You can be scrappy and build with what you have, implementing the motto “Shipped is better than perfect” at times, and you are able to plan and execute an infrastructure that would scale at other times. You don’t shy away from hands-on work and you do the work until you build the team to take over from you. You take ownership and pride in what you and your team do. You always look for improvements. You can communicate complex concepts in simple ways and can build an excellent partnership with the business team. You value great and easy to maintain architecture documentation that makes team member on-boarding smoother. You’ve worked with cloud-based engineering environments e.g. AWS, GCP

Responsibilities: Co-lead Growth FullStack taking charge of everything technical. Accountable for data architecture, performance, availability, monitoring and security of the service, making sure the infrastructure can sustain our growth for the next 6 months. Hire, build and mentor a team of up to 5 high performing data, analytics and software engineers in the next 12 months. Design best practices for big data processing, data modelling and put in place data quality monitoring and assurances. Work closely with the Data Consultants to collect customers feedback, build collaboratively the product roadmap and turn their MVP into real products. Master the existing product and take it to the next level. 100k to 110k gross yearly, depending on your experience The salary can increase to 120k if your experience as a team lead is a solid one already and your network allows you to attract talents to the team.
