Plaid for health, fitness and wellness
We are looking for graphic designers who are excited about wearable devices and their potential.
Our customers utilize our products and services on a daily basis to obtain their users’ wearable data, visualize trends, and learn more about wearables from our blog. The visual design of our products and services is crucial to showcase who we are and what we do. An elegant design language is essential for our customers to understand the why, what, and how of Terra and wearable devices.
Responsibilities
You will design the visuals, illustrations, and animations for all our user touchpoints, including Terra’s overall “look”, our landing page, our blog post illustrations, and more
You will partner with other designers on the team to create graphic designs and illustrations that compliment our UI/UX and overall workflow
Lead design projects focused on brand promotion, such as designing merchandise for PR, events, and the team. Shirts, caps, mugs, you name it. Or rather, you design it :)
Collaborate closely with the entire Terra team, from developers to operations, and present your designs for internal feedback
Ensure your designs align with our vision and our culture, always keeping in mind customers’ needs

What we do
Terra is an API that makes it easy for apps to connect to wearables. Currently, apps and developers in the fitness, wellness, sleep, and other health spaces are using us. Terra was launched in early 2021, and since then we’ve been growing like crazy. But this is just the beginning.
The goal and vision
Think if Spotify and Netflix create music and movies based on your heart rate, and stress levels, in real time. We want to enable apps to achieve that reality, through our super easy to use API.
Funding
To achieve our grand goal, we couldn’t have made it without the support from some incredible investors. We are lucky enough to be supported by General Catalyst, Samsung NEXT, Next Ventures and we were part of Y-Combinator’s W21 batch.
