Tint is Stripe for Insurance. We empower tech platforms to sell more by embedding unique insurance and guarantee products that protect their end-users. We help companies such as Deel, Outdoorsy, Guesty, Neighbor, Boatsetter, and Riders Share, among others, unlock the growth of their core business and improve profitability with insurance.

Our product provides everything needed to run an insurance program, from setting underwriting rules to managing customers' policies to managing claims. All available through a simple API and a no-code app.

About the Role

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Human Resources professional to help us continue to build and scale a world-class team. As a true pioneer and the first leader on the People team, you will be responsible for all levers that involve our culture and our human capital.

The ideal candidate is an all-around athlete that has strong skills in recruiting, systems, and culture that will make our remote-first team thrive. You will be working directly with the CEO and founding team and be involved in the early stages of the startup development.


  • Find and bring on board the best possible talent, metrics, and reporting, recruiting operations (i.e. sourcing, initial phone screening, in-person interviews etc.) in different countries
  • Develop people initiatives: retention, engagement, training, resources planning, company culture enhancement, team building, employee development, etc for our remote-first team
  • Shape and nurture our remote-first culture, while aligning it with our values, mission, and vision
  • Streamline HR systems, onboarding programs, and other policies/procedures.
  • Maintain and administer the HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure HR compliance with all regulations (I9, FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, COBRA, etc)
  • Increase our presence at employment events and job/career fairs and professional and social media sites including glassdoor.com, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, university career sites, etc.
  • Perform other HR tasks as needed


  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least 7 years of HR experience in a high tech and/or start-up environment, preferably with large and small companies
  • Fast learner with a go-getter mentality
  • Deep experience scaling teams and navigating complex organizational structures.Experience working with remote-first teams
  • Deep knowledge of culture and HR best practices and industry standards
  • Strategic and analytical, but also enjoy the administrative aspects of the role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Fintech/insurtech or SaaS experience is a plus
