About the Department

This is a full time role that can be held from our San Francisco office or remotely in the United States.

Account Executives, Sales Development Representatives, Account Managers - all working together to help our customers adopt Triplebyte Hire, our sourcing platform for software engineers. The sales team at Triplebyte helps customers solve the difficult problem of finding and connecting with talented software engineers while creating the revenue streams that help the company fix hiring for software engineers and create a more just tech industry.

 

What you'll do

You'll drive new business by identifying and qualifying target accounts for Triplebyte Hire, our subscription service for sourcing of engineers. This is a great opportunity for a Sales Professional to help us build the Sales function at Triplebyte. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and HR-tech background that enables them to drive engagement with founders, C-level executives, talent acquisition and engineering leaders.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Master the messaging, value proposition and demo flow of Triplebyte Hire
  • Lead great discovery calls that build rapport and make the customer aware of their pain and the cost of not addressing it
  • Sell the value of Triplebyte by connecting it to the insights discovered earlier in the sales process
  • Work full-cycle deals from discovery calls and demos to negotiations and signed contracts
  • Achieve and maintain team-average or above-average win rates and deal size
  • Become highly productive expert of our sales tech-stack (Salesforce, SalesLoft, Gong, Zoom)
  • Maintain clean pipeline in Salesforce, and track your activities with SalesLoft 
  • Record and review your sales calls with Gong to improve your discovery, messaging and demo
  • Partner with, provide feedback to and coach Sales Development Representatives, who will be creating pipeline for you
  • Prospect and create new opportunities to supplement your inbound and SDR-created pipeline
  • Collaborate with account managers on customer onboarding and success
  • Coach and help on-board new members of the sales team

What You Need to be Successful

  • 4+ years of sales experience, preferably in a fast-moving, high growth startup B2B environment
  • A positive, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial attitude and a desire to build a world-class company; willingness to work closely with other functions within Triplebyte to achieve our mission.
  • Confident conducting your own product demos and being able to answer questions to help drive the conversation forward
  • Proven success in closing deal sizes at or above $15k, and consistent track record of hitting sales goals
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, prospecting, contract negotiation and closing customers
  • Experience leveraging Salesforce.com, and sales productivity tools (SalesLoft, Gong, Zoom, etc.)
