The Role:

UpKeep's marketing team is looking for our first in-house Graphic Designer. In this Lead role, you, along with a group of freelancers, will work to deliver advertising, social promotions, website design videos, presentations, print campaigns and events.

The ideal candidate has a passion for brand building and creative strategy, while also having the eye to execute pixel-perfect design. They can nurture, manage and direct partnerships with external agencies and contractors.

We’re looking for someone who is both a strategic thinker and an executional rock star. Someone who can continue to drive forward the UpKeep brand and level of creative execution, while ensuring that all of our growth objectives are met.

Day-to-day:

  • Work closely with CMO and peers across the marketing organization to execute on marketing programs Lead creative strategy and campaign execution across a range of channels, touch points and media types
  • Guide the development and evolution of the UpKeep internal, external and employer brand, voice, and visual identity
  • Elevate the quality of creative execution across a range of outputs, including but not limited to: web design, digital advertising, social media, and virtual events
  • Develop and evolve the UpKeep marketing website in partnership with marketing leadership and web agency Manage a team of freelance and agency partners to deliver on web, marketing, and other organizational design needs
  • Effectively manage projects and requests, creating new processes, and identifying resourcing needs as required

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in the design and creative industries, with at least 2 years' experience in a creative lead position in-house or at a creative agency (including managing brand, design, and/or creative projects)
  • Demonstrated ability to work confidently and build trusted partnerships with Marketing and Creative Teams
  • Strong visual portfolio and demonstrated experience developing creative marketing campaigns
  • Ability to understand and discuss business strategy, related to creative design
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skill
