About the role
Overview
Varos just raised its latest VC round from one of the best investors in SF (still unannounced) and we are bringing on a senior engineer to join our small and mighty team. You’ll build features end-to-end and be actively involved in building the company into an empire.
It’s a complex AI product, with lots of technical challenges that we need only the best to help solve.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Design, build, and optimize both front-end (React/Typescript) and back-end (Python) components.
- AI Integration: Work alongside AI engineers to seamlessly integrate AI models and APIs into applications.
- Scalability & Reliability: Implement best practices for cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration.
- Code Quality & Architecture: Maintain robust code, conduct thorough reviews, and architect solutions for performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, product, and AI teams to deliver integrated, user-centric features.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive Experience: Proven track record of full stack development using Python and React/Typescript in production environments.
- AI Awareness: Previous experience or strong familiarity with integrating AI/ML APIs and frameworks into apps.
- Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure.
Leadership & Communication: Ability to mentor junior developers and effectively communicate technical issues and solutions.
