What you’re signing up for

We’re looking for an experienced Demand Generation lead to help us drive demand through a wide variety of experiments. We have a core inbound/SEO/social channel working, and now our goal is to amplify marketing efforts. More than anything, the role will require rigorous experimentation, data analysis & doubling down on what works best. You will be measured on opportunities created for sales, here’s a list of things you could be working on:

  • Paid advertising across multiple channels
    • Lead and execute our paid search and social strategy across platforms (Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, etc.)
    • Experiment with diverse copy, landing pages, and campaigns to drive high-intent leads.
    • Continuously optimize ads and use data to decide which ads to scale up.
  • Events, both in-person conferences and webinars
    • Identify and secure speaking or sponsoring opportunities for Vellum's leadership. Coordinate all aspects of speaker engagements, including presentation development, logistics, and follow-up activities.
    • Collaborate closely with our sales team to ensure effective pre-event and post-event prospect outreach and nurturing.
    • Develop event goals and track metrics that are essential to the success of all Vellum’s events, such as: promotion tactics, leads, and opportunities created.
  • Account Based Marketing
    • Craft and execute email campaigns to engage and convert target accounts.
    • Utilize insights from our own product data to deliver highly personalized and contextual emails.
  • Serving as a cultural pillar of the team

P.S: Why the name Vellum?

  • Vellum is a type of paper - the Magna Carta was written on Vellum. We intend to be the standard source of record in production
  • You can’t spell Vellum without LLM 😉
