Data from our platform is used to improve building layout & design, execute dynamic workforce strategies, and reduce energy consumption and C02 emissions. For large clients, the financial impact is in the tens of millions per year.

We’re looking for a Junior Recruiter to join our small but mighty People Operations team! Our ideal candidate will be at ease recruiting roles across a variety of verticals, and will partner closely with our Head of People Operations to source for a number of high priority positions. This is a brand new role we’ve created, and we’d love for you to grow with us!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in sourcing efforts for all open roles, including engineering, marketing, product, finance, supply chain, and sales
  • Reinforce our commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the recruitment process
  • Compose job descriptions, source candidates, and schedule and conduct interviews
  • Participate in recruiting events
  • Post and update job ads on professional sites, job sites and social media
  • Use recruiting software to keep track of open roles
  • Promote a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Proactively seek out internal and industry data, and make decisions driven by data
  • Prioritize a diverse and inclusive company culture through recruiting, training, policies, and conversation

QUALIFICATIONS & WHO YOU ARE

  • 1-3 years in Human Resources, People, Talent, or Operations broadly; early-stage startup experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity, autonomy, and responsibility
  • You enjoy figuring out what needs to be done and then doing it; you can quickly adapt in an evolving environment
  • Comfortable working with a distributed and diverse team across multiple locations, cultures, and/or countries
  • Kind, curious, disciplined, humble, and passionate about excelling at what you do
  • Passion for building and strengthening the VergeSense Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives for hiring, promotion, and retention
  • BA in relevant field

Our Product

Deployed in minutes, our high-accuracy quick-installation sensors are able to identify the presence of people and key objects in the context of an office environment that signal how space is being used. Our analytics platform creates a sphere of intelligence within properties and provides actionable insights and AI-powered recommendations to help building managers make effective space planning decisions.

We’re building and training our sensors to become even smarter, with the goal of catering to an even wider range of customers, use cases, and industries. Our sensor-as-a-system and intuitive analytics dashboard provide a real-time view into what is happening in a space, and over time our sensors automatically learn to detect new types of events on the go.
