About Us

We're a team of engineers, clinicians, and operators redesigning how healthcare fundamentally works for the 80 million uninsured and under-insured Americans. We started with a simple vertically integrated primary and urgent care health plan through a network of nurse practitioners that come directly to members virtually or through in-home visits. We designed our plan to make high-quality concierge care accessible to everyone - from the Grammy winners that have used us to our uninsured members.

We're growing fast at 5x ARR over the last 6 months and are well-capitalized from world-class investors like Y Combinator, Softbank, and others unannounced along with incredible founders and operators with experience building and funding unicorns like Michael Seibel (YC, Twitch), Immad Akhund (Mercury), Allison Pickens (Gainsight), Jack Altman (Lattice), Dan Folkman (GoPuff) and others.

We’re looking for a Head of Recruiting to help build out our recruiting. The ideal candidate has experience successfully building a recruiting at an early-stage venture-backed tech startup and is ready for the challenge of helping to scale a rapidly growing company. You will be instrumental in building scalable recruiting team, including establishing recruiting best practices, creating an unparalleled candidate experience, and helping us build a best-in-class talent org from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process
  • Build a recruiting team from scratch, including starting off as an individual contributor for the first few months
  • Create unique strategies to identify, attract, and engage with the best talent, from branding and events, to sourcing and referrals
  • Drive offer approval, extension and negotiation
  • Identify closing strategies for offers and proactively provide candidates with the right information to help make their decision as easy as possible
  • Create and own an exceptionally positive candidate experience at every stage
  • Drive and assess the health of pipeline volume and velocity as well as data integrity and reporting
  • Track and understand relevant metrics for your activity and pipeline and actively share progress with hiring team

Requirements

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience with a focus on passive candidate generation, engagement, and closing strategies
  • Proven track record of success in scaling teams at a tech startup
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and close searches against a timeline and meet recruiting and performance goals
  • Relentless drive to find and connect with the best talent
  • Professional, articulate, detail-oriented and knowledgeable demeanor
  • Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, high level of attention to detail, and excellent follow-through
  • Experience building out recruiting process and procedure at an early stage, high growth venture-backed company (preferred)
