About the role


  • Build out and manage a team to do the sales in the energy sector (oil and gas)
  • Develop new leads and identify sales opportunities, building direct relationships with customers
  • Run first calls and deliver an overview of the Vorticity system, and software. Showcase the company’s strengths by highlighting what makes our product unique
  • Collaborate with Marketing on creative outreach strategies and outside-the-box approaches to reach potential customers
  • Responsible for customer follow-up, listening attentively to questions and providing knowledgeable and insightful responses
  • Manage inbound demand
  • Work with product and engineering teams to evaluate customer workloads for fit
  • Achieve quarterly meeting goals, personally and as a team


  • 5+ years sales experience preferred
  • Background in upstream oil and gas sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


  • Background in technology sales, cloud computing solutions
