About the role

We are looking for a Enterprise Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be a successful sales development representative, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You should have previous experience developing cold leads and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you appoint a sales meeting. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Generate and assess sales leads through cold outreach in social media, emails, and phone calls
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Discuss customers' needs and how our products or materials can help them reach their goals
  • Perform market research
  • Write email sequences
  • Work with tools such as Zoominfo, Salesforce, Outreach.io, etc.
  • Report to a BDR manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role, preferably within B2B SaaS
  • Experience working with global markets
  • Self-starter, able to plan own activities to achieve results.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experienced with SFDC, Zoominfo and other sales tools and services
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to write sequences
  • Excellent English. You have a strong command of English and communicate your thoughts and ideas clearly
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
