About the role

🚩 We're a YC-backed startup transforming how people automate their work

Workflow86 is a no-code platform that allows business teams to document, manage and automate their most important business processes and workflows. Our mission is to allow any organization to capture and massively scale its most valuable asset: the institutional knowledge and expertise held by its people.

💼 We are looking for a Content Writer

We are seeking a part-time/casual Content Writer who will be responsible for producing written content such as blog posts, press releases, articles and other written copy.

You will be working closely with our CEO to develop, structure and then implement, writ and publish written content on a wide variety of topics and subjects.

We are offering a competitive salary + flexible working arrangements.

🏆 Apply if you are REALLY good at writing

Skills we'd like to see:

  • Excellent written communication skills - you can write clearly, and produce engaging content with excellent structure, readability and style
  • Your writing style tends towards readability and engagement (rather than technical or academic writing)
  • You work relatively fast (we have a lot of stuff to write about)
  • Curiosity about topics in technology such as the impact and role of software in society
  • Ability to quickly understand new topics and subject, especially in the technology space

📥 Send us your best piece of writing instead of a cover letter

Instead of a cover letter, send us your best piece of writing you have produced to date.

About the interview

Send resume + best piece of writing to jobs@workflow86.com.

We'll then schedule an interview if we think its a good fit. During the interview, we'll chat about your experience, dig into one experience or project in particular, and then you can ask any questions about the role and Workflow86.

After interview, we may ask for a writing task to be completed (you will be compensated for time). This will involve you being provided with a brief with dot points, and for a short blog post or article to be produced.

Following completion of the writing task, we'll provide feedback and a final offer.

Why you should join Workflow86

We're capturing the 99% of operational knowledge and expertise held by non-technical teams and turning it into massively scalable software.

Workflow86 is an all-in-one platform for documenting, automating and scaling your team’s internal business processes and workflows.

You use drag and drop components to document and build out your process step by step with modules like forms, business logic, document templates and more. It's no-code, so non-technical team members (bizops, HR, admin, legal, risk and compliance) can set up playbooks and processes on their own.

With Workflow86, teams are able to document and codify their workflows in one central place, massively scale their operational capacity without additional hires, and consolidate fragmented processes into one platform.
