Fullstack JS Engineer

As an early employee, you will be responsible for key parts of the engineering stack and directly involved in early engineering and product decisions. You'd build core features from the ground up, and deliver fast without bureaucracy. We're looking for someone who is serious about building, and who can wear many hats.

What you will do

Take full ownership of our Zorba's full-stack web platform, all the way to deploys, infra, monitoring, debugging, and overall reliability. Work together with backend engineers to coordinate AI and image processing pipelines to work with our web application. Be exposed to every level of the company, working closely with the CTO to meet business goals and working off customer feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional development experience with ReactJS
• 3+ years of experience with Node.js and a strong understanding of the semantics of Node.js (event loop, async/await, events, etc)
• Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs
• Production NodeJS experience + docker is nice to have.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs (external + designing & implementing internal ones)
• The ability to work in an unstructured, self-directed environment.
• A love for building, especially novel product experiences.
• Care and empathy for users. We fall in love with our users, not our products.
• Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.
• Experience working in an early-stage environment - bonus.
• Experience working on a B2C product - bonus.
