And as we handle negotiations across payers and networks, we build a clearer picture of how contracts get done and how rates vary by specialty and region.\n\n**Our Backstory**\n\nAt our previous companies (Scale AI, Instabase, and Airbnb) we kept running into the same gap: powerful AI tools fell short in workflows with specific rules, data types, and consequences. Nowhere was that gap more visible than in US healthcare, where administrative spend exceeds $1T annually. We decided it was time to close the gap. Before Scale, Sam led the Instacart+ subscription product team, invested at the VC firm Amasia, and covered insurance companies in investment banking at Morgan Stanley.\n\nRaghav Mehrish (CTO): Raghav was a senior software engineer at Airbnb, where he led large-scale projects across host growth, internationalization and long term stays. Before that, he developed the payroll platform and mobile app at Zenefits. Most recently, he co-founded and scaled Handstamp, an event ticketing platform, to several million in GMV and hundreds of thousands of users.\n\nMichael Clark (COO): Michael was the founding sales rep on the inside sales team at Instabase where he led the company’s push into Healthcare AI, working with companies like CVS on prior authorization.
