You earn first, we only earn when you do - we charge 10% of the solar revenue you collect.

🔄 How It Works

1. Add your property and connect your solar system - just enter basic property info and link your solar setup.
2. We track solar usage in 15-minute intervals - we measure how much solar energy your tenants use—accurately, throughout the month.
3. We generate monthly solar bills using your utility’s rates - the bills reflect the same line items and tariffs your utility company uses.
4. Tenants receive transparent, familiar-looking bills - nothing confusing—just clear, itemized solar billing that looks like a standard utility bill.
5. Tenants pay, you get paid - tenants pay by card, you receive automatic transfers. You keep 90%, we take 10%.

💡 Why We Built This

Before Wand, we built a DevOps startup together. But we wanted to work on something with deeper impact—something that could actually move the needle on climate.

Then we saw this stat:

55% of electricity in the U.S. is used in rental properties.

Yet solar adoption in rentals is almost nonexistent—because of the split incentive problem: landlords pay for solar, but tenants get the savings.

It’s a broken system. And it’s a massive opportunity—both for reducing carbon emissions and unlocking billions in untapped properties across the entire value chain.
