Vibe Code Web Apps
With vibe-coding, anyone can make websites without hiring web devs.
But apps like Lovable and Bolt break when you add backend functionality.
We want anyone to be able to build fully functional apps with real backends. Imagine you want to build a recipe app! You’ll need:
- File storage → store the recipe images reliably
- Authentication → users can sign up / log in
- Database → persist data like saved recipes
- Email service → send updates to your users
In the coming weeks, we’re building integrations for all of these services, so you can do everything you need to, directly within Waffle. No need to sign up to any other 3rd party service like Clerk or Supabase.
Team
Manuj (CEO) was previously 2nd ML hire at unicorn defence startup, Rebellion. He ranked #1 in his Maths & CS Bachelor’s at Imperial College London and graduated from Oxford with a Master’s in Advanced CS. He published a first-author AI paper at UAI 2024.
Diogo (CTO) has built several mobile games. His top original game, Battle Arena, reached 1M users in 70 countries. He did his Bachelor’s in CS at EPFL and dropped out of his Master’s to build Waffle.
