đź‘‹Â Excited to introduce PRDKit - an AI-powered PRD workbench (web + Slack) for product managers and builders.
Problem:
Writing great product requirement documents (PRDs) is hard. These documents lay the foundation for a product or feature, yet they’re often bloated, confusing, and missing edge cases.
This leads to expensive downstream problems from a lack of team alignment to unnecessary work that gets thrown away.
Wrangling ChatGPT to write PRDs works, but it returns lots of fluff and quickly feels like running a sprint board in a spreadsheet—powerful yet awkward.
Solution:
PRDKit is a focused AI tool that captures rough ideas, structures them into clear, lightweight PRDs, and—at the click of a button—spins up the follow‑ups you always need:
Further, it’s contextual. It helps you quickly capture the essence of your existing product (enter the homepage URL) to craft PRDs that cater to your personas and existing workflows.
Here’s a 2-mins demo video where you can see it in action.
Back story:
We were deep into building a UX assistant when we found that product specs were slowing us down. Even with the aid of ChatGPT and Claude, requirements were bloated and disorganized.
So we spun up a quick internal project on the same AI infrastructure we’ve built, aimed solely at turning fuzz into structure. The team loved it; specs got sharper, hand‑offs got quieter.
That side project has now been packaged for public use. We want to learn where it shines—or breaks—outside our walls.
Product managers and builders: take it for a spin! We’ll top off your credits for feedback.
