Wideframe works with footage across local filesystems and cloud providers. We also supports Adobe Premiere Pro (.prproj) roundtrip. Our robust integrations are important so that Wideframe can work with source footage all the way through to delivering Premiere Pro projects to editors.

Our Story

Zack has been an engineering leader for 20+ years. Daniel managed $1B+ in ads for tech companies. We are ex-coworkers and have been close friends for 15 years.

Throughout 2025, we developed an ever-increasing obsession with coding agents.

By late 2025, we committed to bringing the power of coding agents to Daniel’s growth world in the form of agentic video editing. Our original YC pitch was “Claude Code for Video Editing”.

In our first 75 days since launch, we’ve onboarded more than 50 brands and agencies. Many of them make tens or hundreds of videos per week for ads or organic social. What we discovered while building for them: 75% of their video work happens outside of the NLE.

Our clients prefer to finish their videos in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. They don’t want an “agentic NLE”. And they don’t spend a lot of time using the NLE in the first place.

They spend 4-5x more time each week doing research, writing briefs, searching for videos, scrubbing within videos, organizing sequences of a-roll and b-roll, producing rough drafts, getting feedback from their team and/or clients, and now generating content to augment their footage as well.

We’re delivering real value within these workflows and our ambition is to become the default workspace where people and agents can collaborate to get the most out of their video.
