Tinai

Bookkeeping app for Vietnam's 6M small businesses.

We are Tinai, an early-stage startup that builds mobile apps to help the 6 million small businesses in Vietnam do bookkeeping. With our apps, a drug store or convenience store owner can record transactions, manage customer credits, and control inventory. The 6 million small businesses in Vietnam account for $110B in GDP, but 80-90% of them still use pen and paper to do bookkeeping. This results in uncollected sales, lost inventory, and wasted time. We can help them digitize bookkeeping because we are engineers with experience building for a billion+ users across TikTok, Amazon, and Quora. Tinai is founded by Long Tran, ex-machine learning engineer at Bytedance and Quora, Stanford MS, Columbia BA; and Thanh Nguyen, who spent 6 years as a software engineer at Amazon where he launched 3D modeling and virtual try-on.

Thanh Nguyen

Thanh is the CTO and Co-founder of Tinai. Previously, he was working as a software engineer for Amazon Fashion and Amazon Advertising for 6 years. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Hampshire College in Computer Science.
