Hey everyone,
We're Remi and Greg (P26) and we're building AICE Power.
Ask: Intros to supermarket / retail / fast food operators (EU or US).

Most large commercial buildings have a Building Management System. In theory, it monitors everything. Yet, the data is so unreliable that problems still slip through. And by the time they're caught, the damage is already done and financial consequences compound quickly.

Here is an example of a major malfunction on a piece of cold equipment (like a freezer), costing $200/day, that could have been avoided with proper monitoring:
Meanwhile, smaller commercial sites (supermarkets, fast food chains, retail stores) have no monitoring.
Why?
Traditional BMS systems are too expensive, require specialized integrators, and only cover major loads.
The result: waste hides in plain sight.
When we started installing our sensors in supermarkets, we discovered something simple:
More than half the stores keep their lights on all night (yes, as dumb as it sounds), and some are wasting as much as $1000 per day with bad HVAC settings. No system is telling them.
Nobody knew until our sensors identified the issue, triggering an alert that led to immediate corrective steps.
1. Install in ~30 minutes
Sensors clip directly onto the electrical panel. No wiring, no downtime. One person, done.
2. See every circuit
We collect clean, appliance-level data at the circuit level, every minute. Equipment left on, abnormal loads, gas anomalies, we see it.
3. Get alerted before it costs you
You get a notification with context: what’s wrong, how bad, and what to do.
6 months ROI from electricity savings, because our alerts stop waste nobody knew existed.
The savings come from simple things: equipment running when it shouldn’t, load imbalances, anomalies that were invisible without granular data.
The team
We’re a team of engineers who realized the energy gap was a hardware problem masquerading as a software one.
Greg, a MIT-trained aerospace engineer, former NASA. He spent 2 years in energy consulting seeing firsthand how bad data leads to wasted millions.
Remi, an electrical & embedded systems engineer. Built the sensor system and real-time alerting platform from the ground up because the "off-the-shelf" hardware simply wasn't enough.
