Hey YC! We’re Johann and Het building Andustry, the platform to buy and sell industrial goods. It’s Alibaba on AI - agents discover the best suppliers and negotiate the best deals for you.
The problem:
Finding a new supplier to replace a machine is extremely difficult as an SME. They need to reach out to hundreds of suppliers one-by-one, wait for weeks and then hope they get relevant replies. And on top of this, they often need to spend days going to trade fairs, visiting factories, comparing quotes, negotiating pricing, coordinating delivery and payment, and even making sure the factory exists.
The solution:
Andustry takes away the long and expensive work of finding the right supplier. Instead buyers inform Andustry a single time of their requirements. Next, our agents find out what the suppliers on our platform can offer. Agents can autonomously negotiate the deal and the final offers are presented to the buyer to confirm the order.
We are starting by solving discovery and want to expand to other steps of the transactions where customers have the biggest pain (fulfillment, imports, payment, etc.). We also target suppliers, but for now we focus on buyers, who face the bigger pain point. Our first vertical is machinery and we will take it from here.
