Ascen is a Y Combinator-funded back office platform for staffing companies. We give staffing firms the freedom to focus on their clients and candidates by providing an amazing suite of back-office services - contractor onboarding, timesheets, payroll, invoicing, funding, and employer of record - all through a beautiful, white-label, all-in-one platform.
We are looking for a highly capable Operations Associate to help support our various platform stakeholders. This position is 100% remote.
This is a many-hats role focusing on people skills and being generally helpful in solving our problems.
Here are some examples of what you will be doing:
- Helping onboard and responding to questions from partners, contractors, and clients
- Creatively solving problems related to HR, product, or technical issues
- Interacting with various regulatory agencies and vendors
- Completing paperwork when certain compliance or HR issues arise
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong interest, familiarity, and ability to learn technology products
- A history of excellence and consistently going above and beyond job requirements
- Desire to interact with stakeholders over email and the phone
- Strong and attentive communication skills
- Excellent written skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Bonus points if you have contingent workforce experience or are willing to get equivalent certifications
